The most popular tea in Greece is known as "Tsai Tou VouNou" (Tea of the Mountain). It comes from the Sideritis plant which only grows on mountain sides at an altitude of over 1,000 metres. Enjoyed by Greeks for generations, mountain tea is traditionally used to aid digestion, strengthen the immune system and suppress common cold, flu and other viruses, allergies and shortness of breath, sinus congestion, even pain and mild anxiety. Organically grown, hand harvested, naturally dried and caffeine-free our loose leaf teas contain the dried flowers, leaves and stems of the Sideritis scardica plant, indigenous to Mount Olympus.
